Fort Meade is the largest employer in Maryland with more than 55,000 people working on the installation each day. Federal funding is critical to Maryland’s efforts to provide construction, installation, government contracting and other jobs in Maryland while continuing our efforts to support the service members of our United States Military.  Maryland residents depend on a vibrant and vital Fort Meade as an economic engine for Maryland Jobs and business opportunities.
